We are PREGNANT!

BABY NUMBER 2

We are pregnant with baby number 2! We are so excited that Gideon is going to be a big brother. Hagrid is pretty excited about it also. ;)

We really wanted to get pregnant before James left for deployment in April but according to my doctor I really needed to wait a year from when Gideon was born to get pregnant since I want to try and have a VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean). When we got the news that my husband's dad passed away May 1st, we flew to Texas. James' command allowed him to come home to Texas for two weeks to be with family during this time. We were so heart broken over the death of his dad but so thrilled to see each other after a month of being apart. When we were in Texas we thought it would be the perfect timing to try and get pregnant. We didn't think it would happen in just those two weeks. The timing would be perfect! James would be home when I was about 5 months pregnant and he would be home for the birth!

Four weeks later before church I decided to take a pregnancy test. I didn't think I was pregnant but I knew if I was, it would show up. A couple of minutes later ... KABOOM! PREGNANT! I was so happy I couldn't control myself. People probably thought I was crazy full of the Holy Spirit that morning because I could not stop smiling. Ha!

God is so GOOD and his timing it perfect! With death comes life and I know James' dad is smiling down on us from Heaven!
