Kaneohe Bay Sandbar

After a year and a half of living on this gorgeous island I finally ventured out to the sandbar and it was beautiful! We celebrated my sweet friends 30th birthday. We left from the Marine Corps Base Marina and took a pontoon boat out. The boats hold 10 people and it took about 15 minutes to get out to the sandbar. My goal is to get my license so we can do this more often. This mommy got a babysitter and it was glorious! ☀️

This is probably my new favorite spot on the island. We spent 5 hours swimming and hanging out in the water and it did not seem long enough. Next time I am bringing chairs, lots of snacks and my good camera! :)
