Maunawili Falls Hike

I cannot believe that we have lived on this beautiful island for a year and a half and have never done this gorgeous hike. Our friends Tim & Holly took us and we had such a great time! Maunawili Falls is just under 3 1/2 miles long and is extremely muddy. I recommend bringing vibrams (toe shoes). We wore ours and they were perfect for this hike. I also recommend bringing bug spray. We used our doTERRA Terrashield and applied it every 30-45 minutes. It worked great and we felt good about not using chemicals on our skin. Last item I recommend bringing is a swimsuit just in case you decide to jump into the water!
