Perfectly Flawed

What is the problem with social media? The perception that everything is perfect and happy ALL of the time. Let's just be real- it's not! We see our friends on Facebook and Instagram with their perfect pictures and their perfect clothes and houses and cars and smiley faces. Do you ever really see the ugly? The times when they are not put together, when they are having a rough day, when they have pimples and when they are super stressed out? Well sometimes... the oversharers. But, we are not focusing on those people right now. I constantly get told from people that our life looks so perfect and our baby is so perfect. Uhmm... No? We are normal. I LOVE my husband and child but we are human. We argue just like any other couple, our baby cries, we get stressed out over the little things. We are perfectly flawed humans & that's why we need Jesus! I want to encourage you all to focus on being YOU. Stop comparing yourself to others that you see on social media. It's not real! You only see the happy good moments and the good angles. Stop feeling like you are the only one that is going through something difficult. I think once we finally figure that out we can truly be happy and be happy for others.

Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. Romans 12:15

I wanted to share a few pictures of our perfect flawed little baby who hates the ocean. We tried to get a good picture and he was not having it. After all, are these not better than smiley ones? #reallife

I may be a mommy in paradise but our paradise still has some flaws in it. Our paradise is focusing on the good and not the bad moments.

Our paradise is loving these imperfect moments and cherishing them.
